🌿 Honoring Every Woman: A Beautiful Mother’s Day at Our Church
Mother’s Day is a special time to pause and honor the women who nurture, love, teach, and care for others so faithfully. This year, our church is celebrating all mothers, including the spiritual mothers among us – every woman who pours into the lives of children and families in ways that are deeply meaningful.
Scripture reminds us of the beauty of this calling in Titus 2:3-5 – that women are called to guide, encourage, and invest in the next generation. We are so thankful for the women in our church who live this out each day.
☕ A Gentle, Joyful Morning Together
We are planning a simple and beautiful morning designed to make every woman feel welcomed and appreciated.
As you arrive, our children will be ready to serve you with:
• A warm cup of tea or refreshing lemonade
• A small selection of sweet treats
• A heartfelt smile and greeting
We will take a few extra minutes before the service begins to slow down and enjoy this time together.
🌸 A Special Moment of Blessing
At the close of our service, the children will present each woman with:
• A small bouquet of flowers
• A handwritten note prepared just for you
We will then take time to pray over all the women in our church, thanking God for your presence, your influence, and your care.
As it says in Proverbs 31:26, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” This is the spirit we celebrate.
📸 A Memory to Keep
We will end our morning with a group photo of the women and children in front of our spring backdrop – a simple way to remember a meaningful day together.
💛 Reaching Every Woman
We also recognize that some of our women may not be able to attend in person. After the service, we will be delivering flowers and treats to those at home so they can be part of the celebration as well.
