The greatest work of the enemy is seen not in those who are obviously villainous, but in those who sit quietly and comfortably, thinking their sin not so bad as others.
Once we begin to think about sin as turning away from God, rather than in terms of bad behavior, we will start to aim correctly.
The target that we are to aim for is not good behavior, but right relationship with God.
For whoever serves Him will be with Him wherever He is.
Though this may be a difficult thing to accept, it is better to be a slave of God than a ruler of men.
So it is that in order to be free of sin, you must submit to the Lord.
The Bible never speaks of any person being his own master, but it does speak of each person choosing whom they will serve.
In order to come to Christ, there must be an admission that you can do nothing for yourself.
There is no liberty from sin, without becoming a slave of Christ.
It is good to desire the praise and glory from God, but it is folly to seek it from men.
