When will we start meeting in person again?
All Colonial Heights Recreation Center reservations are canceled until July. Gatherings of more than 10 people in the parks are still not allowed.
We are considering our options moving forward with in person meetings, doing what we can to find a way to meet while following the current guidelines and regulations.
Please be in prayer for a solution to present itself and that we can see each other again soon!
We love & miss you all.

Your Daily Dose of Inspiration:
2 Kings 5:9-14 So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha’s house. (10) And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.” (11) But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, “Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper. (12) Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage. (13) But his servants came near and said to him, “My father, it is a great word the prophet has spoken to you; will you not do it? Has he actually said to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?” (14) So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
Naaman was a powerful man who contracted leprosy and he was desperate to be healed. When he told about the prophet Elisha, he came to find out how he could get healed. He recognized that he needed to be cleansed, so he went looking for it. How much more fortunate was he than many who walk the Earth in health. For they live unaware of the depth of their need, and so they never search for the answer. However, when he was told what he needed to do, he left in anger. It was beneath his dignity to go washing in the dirty river. How many of us behave this way? We ask God to help us, to heal us, and when He tells us what we need to do, we leave upset. Fortunately for Naaman, he had a person who loved him enough to tell him the truth. Naaman pride was less than his need, so he went and washed in the river as he was told, and so he was made clean from his leprosy.
When we are shown that we are made filthy by our sins, we can either be offended, or humbled. If we are offended and remain in pride, then we will remain in our filth and make ourselves the enemies of God. We will be like the Pharisees whom Jesus called out for their hypocrisy. We will put on the appearance of righteousness, while inside being filled with sin and death. White-washed tombs we shall become, if we do not allow ourselves to be washed with the water of the Word.
