Your Daily Dose of Inspiration:
Jesus calls us to leave ourselves and follow Him, not because He is trying to keep us from enjoy good things, but because He is the only good thing. We lose ourselves in the petty things of this world because we chase after the shadows of goodness but ignore goodness itself. God is good, and in Him is all that is good. He tells you to leave yourself, because He loves you and want you to have the very best of all things. That is why we can face these times and still say that God is good. What happens in the world and all around us may be horrible and bad, but that does not change that God is good, and He wants you to know that. Not just intellectually, but by experiencing Him. By coming to know Him intimately, He will reveal His goodness to you. Trust that even in these days, God is good, and He will take even the things others mean for evil and work them out for good.
Psa 16:1-11 Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. (2) I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” (3) As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight. (4) The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names on my lips. (5) The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. (6) The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. (7) I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. (8) I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. (9) Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. (10) For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. (11) You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

A Word of Encouragement from Kathy Emahiser:
During the early morning hours on 4-6-20, I couldn’t sleep so I started praying in the spirit (tongues), one scripture after another came to me, then I heard “I am turning things around.” During the “One Voice” prayer that started at noon, one speaker said, ” I have a word for us concerning the COVID 19 virus: This shall come to pass.” Then another speaker said, “we are in the midst of the turn-around.”
Yesterday, while the prayer team was praying, I felt prompted to tell the others I believed we should pray in the spirit. As we were praying, God spoke the following: “I am who I am. I am the God of this nation. My arm is not short that I can’t reach down and pull up those from the pit. I am turning things around. Do you believe me or not? Don’t pull back. Yes, I am doing a new thing. I am a loving God. It hurts when my own children don’t trust me. I am for you, not against you.
Be blessed.
