A couple of years ago, our church followed God’s leading into a different style of Sunday morning service, particularly in the way we relate the Bible. Instead of the typical sermon format, where there is one person speaking and everyone else silently listens, you’ll find that we go through each Bible verse together and invite everyone to participate in discussion. Pastor Jared will occasionally share a typical sermon, but our focus every Sunday is to seek to study the Word together and to benefit from the insight and revelation which each one of us receives. We want to be sure that there is room for others to share and also to ask questions. In this way we develop a more organic discipleship and fellowship.

The sermons you will find on our website are Pastor Jared’s own thoughts and are a different style than our Sunday morning group discussion.

Our aim with every sermon is to examine the scriptures and hear from God. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and it is by His spirit that the deep things of God are revealed. We want not only to be hearers of His word, but doers also. Thereby we may become more and more like Christ and live as accurate representatives of His interests on Earth.

You can expect to hear and read a lot of scripture in these sermons. Pastor Jared is a teacher, but he does not want you to walk away being taught by his words, he wants you to be taught by the Holy Spirit. Every sermon is based on the message of the whole Bible and purposes to open our eyes to God’s will for us.
